The USS Avenger is a chapter of Starfleet International extant since 21 June 1985 (STARFLEET Vessel Registry, May 2011), and based in the North Brunswick, New Jersey area. The chapter's original fictional metaphor was that of an Avenger-class heavy frigate, the USS Avenger (NCC-1860). In 2021, the membership voted to change that metaphor to that of a Narendra-class heavy cruiser.
