The USS Bellerophon (NCC-62048) was a Nebula-class Federation starship, active in the late 24th century.
The Bellerophon was part of the Starfleet task force that participated in the Battle of Wolf 359 against a Borg cube. Like almost all the other ships there, the Bellerophon was destroyed. (DS9: "Emissary")
Timoteo Russo was a non-commissioned officer assigned to the Bellerophon just before the ship joined the defense force at Wolf 359 in 2367. During its shakedown, the Bellerophon's warp core had a catastrophic failure and many officers and crew were injured, including Russo. (Constar Chronicles: Shakedown: a Star Trek Fan Film)
- This would seem to imply that the Bellerophon was newly-constructed, but it could have just undergone a refit.
