USS Blue Nose

The USS Blue Nose was a Federation starship commanded by Captain Kyle in the late 24th century. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X)

History

In 2364, the Blue Nose and the Dark Glory received sensor readings of two nearby alien starships in distress. Since both ships were heading in opposite directions, the Blue Nose and the Dark Glory split up to find them. When the Blue Nose came upon the alien scout ship, F'Dhelk, they found themselves forced into battle. Three Klingon ships, the IKS Nechag, the IKS Furt'gh and the IKS Rotog, joined in on the battle in the Blue Nose`s defense, successfully destroying the F'Dhelk - but not before taking on a boarding party, which included an alien named D'Car. Captain Kyle convinced D'Car and the boarding party to lower their weapons in the interest of learning more of the Federation. After being escorted into Starfleet's hands, D'Car`s team would later turn on him; and after twenty tears, D'Car, himself, would turn against the Federation. ("Remnants")

When the Federation was threatened by enemy forces, in 2375, the Blue Nose was disabled by the Trozonian generation warship Gelomira at the invasion of the Sol system. ("Bio Level 4")

Its bad luck continued in 2378, when it was destroyed by an Evvelen vessel in the Honduras sector. ("Crystal Method, Part I")
