USS Chosin (NCC-2950) was a Constellation-class fast cruiser active in Starfleet service during the late 23rd and early 24th centuries. (Orion Press)
Chosin was commissioned in 2292. Her commanding officer was Captain Shaun Kelsey. (Orion Press: Old Feuds, Insanity's Child)
In late 2294, during a skirmish with Tholian forces, Chosin conveyed replacement personnel, topaline for the life-support systems, 200 photon torpedoes, Wasp-class Fighter Bees with Marine pilots, and vitally needed warp-drive assemblies to the damaged Enterprise-B. Along with other ships of the Sixth Fleet, Chosin was tasked with the exploration of the Beta Quadrant on a seven-year mission at the beginning of 2296. (Orion Press: "New Orders")
