The USS Christopher Pike (NCC-72091) was a Galaxy-class starship in Federation Starfleet service during the late 24th century. She was at least the second vessel to bear the name. (Star Trek: Pendragon: "True North")

Launched in 2368, the Chris Pike's commanding officer was Captain Brady Thornton.

Commander Timothy Sinclair served as her first officer from 2371 until 2374. He was succeeded (briefly) by Mark Montgomery.

Lt. Commander Horatio McCoy was the Pike's chief engineer from her launch at least into the 2380s.

Lieutenant T'Ryssa Chen joined the Christopher Pike's crew as a contact specialist in 2380. (Star Trek: Pendragon: "Wanderers, Seekers, Warriors, Thinkers")

In Star Trek: The Adventures of Argus continuity, this ship was one of the 98 lost by the Seventh Fleet at the Battle of Tyra.

Nomenclature[]

The ship was named after the storied Starfleet commanding officer of the 23rd century, Christopher Pike.
