The USS Constellation (NCC-71855) was a Sovereign-class heavy cruiser in service during the 24th century. She was launched in 2386 and commissioned in 2387.
Constellation was deployed to the Starfleet First Fleet and was the flagship of Fleet Admiral Steven Parmley in the late 2390s.
Marine Strike Group[]
The 132nd Marine Strike Group ("Knights of Peace") was embarked on the Constellation. It was later replaced by the 232nd MSG.
Nomenclature[]
The ship was named after the star grouping constellation, as well as various Earth seagoing vessels and previous starships such as the Constitution-class USS Constellation, the prototype USS Constellation, and the USS Constellation (NCC-55817).
