The USS Courageous (NX-81822) was the first of the Courageous-class starships that saw service with the Federation Starfleet during the 24th century. Originally built as a Galaxy-class it was refitted with a tri-warp nacelle design and became the testbed for a hybridized quantum slipstream drive.
