The USS El Alamein (NCC-35378) was a Tranquility-class Starfleet explorer starship in service to the Federation Starfleet in the 24th century.
Lawrence Cheung served as the vessel's first officer from 2337 to 2345, after which he became the ship's commanding officer and served in that capacity 2352. In 2352, command of the El Alamein passed to Raka Fel Raka, while Cheung was promoted to rear admiral and took over command of the Fifth Exploratory Task Group, of which the El Alamein was part.
