- USS Enterprise discovered that lost colony in TAS: "The Terratin Incident". Perhaps Hiroshima was the ship that did the follow-up contact.
- In Federation Ship Recognition Manual, Vol. 1, NCC-2718 was assigned to the USS Moscow. Hiroshima and Moscow may not exist together in the same continuity.
