The USS Honorius was a Federation Sovereign-class explorer that saw service during the latter half of the 24th century.
The original Honorius was built at Starbase 12. Following the destruction of the USS Enterprise-D in 2371 the Honorius was renamed, USS Enterprise-E. (Star Trek: Corps of Engineers ebook: "The Future Begins")
The renaming of the Honorius as the Enterprise-E was cited by Zenon Kar as one of the precedents of re-namings of other Starfleet ships as Enterprises in a letter to the Federation News Service recommending that the USS Titan NCC-80102-A be renamed as the USS Enterprise-G.
