The USS Intrepid (NCC-38907) was an Excelsior-class starship in service during the mid-24th century.
Lieutenant Commander T'Sara joined the Intrepid crew as second officer in 2323. She served in that capacity until she was promoted to first officer in 2328, a position she held aboard the Intrepid until 2332. (Star Trek: Courageous)
The Intrepid, under the command of Drew Deighan, responded first to a distress call from Khitomer in 2346 after Romulans attacked the Klingon outpost. (TNG: "Sins of the Father", "Redemption")
- The ship was decommissioned or destroyed sometime prior to the Intrepid-class being launched, as the USS Intrepid (NCC-74600) was a ship in service by about 2370.
