USS Jamestown (NCC-1843) was a Constitution-class heavy cruiser — of the Enterprise subclass — on active duty in Starfleet from 2272 to 2280. It was the fourth spacecraft to bear the name.
Jamestown's commanding officer was Captain (later Rear Admiral Stephen C. Thomas. The ship was deployed to the Starfleet First Fleet for eight years.
