Fan organizations[]
The Jaresh-Inyo is a chapter of Starfleet International. The chapter-in-training ("shuttle") was established 11 September 2009 and the chapter was commissioned exactly a year later. Her first chapter president was Gary "Tiny" Hollifield, Jr. (1982-2014). Its first city of charter was Paragould, Arkansas. (STARFLEET Vessel Registry, May 2011)
The chapter's initial registry of NCC-74922 was later changed to NCC-71859, and the metaphor changed to that of a Galaxy-class explorer, USS Jaresh-Inyo.
