USS John F. Kennedy (NCC-1263) was a Ranger-class starship in United Federation of Planets Starfleet service during the 23rd century.

The JFK was commanded by Captain L.C. Tannenbaum in 2254 when she and USS Exeter helped establish a colony on Gamma Hydrae IV. (Orion Press: The Mindsweeper)

In 2276, she was damaged from an accidental collection with a freighter. (Orion Press: "Interlude")
