The USS Kennedy (NCC-73609) was an Eagle-class Federation heavy cruiser, commissioned in the early 2360s. (Ex Astris Scientia)
As part of the Seventh Fleet, the Kennedy was one of ninety-eight starships destroyed at the Battle of Tyra. At least one escape pod was launched from the ship before it destruction, making planet fall on Tyra III, where it's occupants were rescued by a search and rescue team from the USS Argus.
