The USS Lantz (NCC-49) was a ship of the Turing subclass for the Cavalry-class light destroyers in Earth Starfleet (and later Federation) service during the mid- to late-22nd century. Originally commissioned into the Earth Starfleet (hull designation ND-632), she was one of only four Cavalry class ships to transition into the Federation Starfleet.
