The USS Madras was a New Orleans-class frigate that saw service with the Federation Starfleet during the late 24th century.
Madras was one of the so-called Newport batch (aka Block III) of the New Orleans ships. There were at least five others of this block built. (Hobbyist's Guide to the UFP Starfleet and Its History, Part 1b)
