USS Mercutio (NCC-4482)

The USS Mercutio (NCC-4482) was an Intrepid-class Federation starship serving in the late 24th century. She was built at Antares Ship Yards and, in 2379, her captain was Kaufman. In this year, the Mercutio "went rogue" after being attacked by other Federation starships. However, the Mercutio was finally stood down after the COs of one of the vessels she was attacking was able to talk reason into Kaufman. (TNG video game: Starfleet Command III)

The low NCC number might indicate that she was christened in tribute to another ship with that name and NCC or the NCC associated with that ship was modified multiple times.

In 2401, she was commanded by Jutudiel, a male Haliian who was the race commissioner of the Fire Mountain Rally. At the Grabvine Gateway, a two-seater soapbox car race, her first officer, Faith Kingsford, also ran alongside her commanding officer. (Star Trek: The Stoneship Files: "At the Soapbox Races")

In 2415, the Mercutio was assigned to rescue hostages in ISC territory, where her commanding officer, Faith Kingsford, assembled a golf team to participate in the Pothole Omnium, headed by Sandra Trammell. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Pothole Omnium")
