USS Mirfak (NCC-1837) was a Constitution-class heavy cruiser — of the Tikopai-subclass — on active duty in Starfleet during at least the 23rd century. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol. 1)
Mirfak was destroyed during the Kelvan War, but its primary hull would later be used to build the USS Lantree. The hsips share the same registry number as a result. (Orion Press: In Harm's Way, "Lexicon K-L", 2010 revision)
