The USS Nebula was the prototype and lead ship of the Nebula-class explorers in Federation Starfleet during the late 24th century.

- There appears to be some confusion about this ship's registry number. According to Star Trek: Communicator, it has the registry of either NCC-60147 (article) or NCC-60000 (image). To add confusion to the issue, Decipher RPG reference book Starships lists her registry as NX-60602.
