USS Odyssey was a modified Galaxy-class battleship in Federation Starfleet service during the late 24th century. (Constar Completed: Odyssey, Odyssey, Part 2, Raincross, Unsteady)
By about 2385, her commanding officer was a doppelgänger of Captain Erick Minard. When the Federation declared a ban on synths, Captain Anthony Lobato of the USS Raincross defied the order to protect one of his officers, Lieutenant Bell. Odyssey was in Raincross's way as the latter ship was leaving drydock, but Minard pretended that Odyssey was in no shape to pursue, and their comms were breaking up. (Raincross)
At some point, Chloe Mitchell served aboard the Odyssey. (Unsteady)
In the 2390s, while on a search for Eobard Minard, Captain Chris Sanders consulted with the Minard doppelgänger. (Unsteady)
Nomenclature[]
The ship was named after the Odyssey, one of two epic poems (circa 8th century, B.C.E.) attributed to Homer, on Earth, as well as other sea- and starfaring vessels, usually of Earth registry.
