The USS Olympus (NCC-23100) was a modified Galaxy-class starship in use in the late 24th century. It was the first of the Olympus-class subtype of the Galaxy-class. (Starfleet International Fan Association)
Background information[]
- In the early days of TNG, a set of fan blueprints was produced for the 24th century equivalent of the Federation-class dreadnought, based on the Galaxy-class, and called the Olympus-class. In the intervening years, the debate has continued over whether it should be treated as a separate class or simply a Galaxy-class variant. In "All Good Things...", the version of the USS Enterprise-D seen in the anti-time future bears an uncanny resemblance to the Olympus-class.
