In 2381, the Onizuka intercepted a transmission sent by Tyson Calok to his supporters among the So'ja Coalition. The transmission called for the assassination of the President-Elect Korvin Mot. ("Prime Target")
Nomenclature[]
The ship was named after Ellison Onizuka (1946-1986), one of the American astronauts who died in the Challenger disaster on 28 January 1986.
