The USS Oraidhe was a Galaxy-class explorer on active duty in the 24th century. It was named for the mountain of the same name on Trill and commanded by Captain Gohod Clif.
Oraidhe was assigned to negotiate in a civil war on 11 Lacerti in 2369, followed by half a year of patrol duty on the edge of United Federation of Planets space. She then spent six months en route home, only to be sent to join the USS Enterprise-D and the USS Marignano in the Great Rift. There the entire crew's neural energies were "eaten" by the intellivore creature.
Enterprise towed Oraidhe to Starbase 44, where she was later recommissioned with a new name and new crew was assigned. (TNG novel: Intellivore)
