The USS Phoenix was a PBeM sim that was part of the Starfleet Simulation Group (SSG)

The USS Phoenix (NCC-1890) was originally a Constitution-class starship launched circa 2270 shortly after the V'Ger incident under the command of Captain Hanson. Due to an accident the crew was frozen in time until the time of the Dominion War when that ship was lost returning from an infiltration mission and the crew where assigned to the new Sovereign-class USS Phoenix-A.
The ship is named in honour of the the Phoenix the first human ship to reach warp speed.
