The USS Pioneer (NCC-1500) was a utility cruiser and class prototype starship of the Pioneer-class, built by the Federation Starfleet in the mid 23rd century. Sometime in the 2270s, the Pioneer was decommissioned and placed in the Federation's Fleet Museum.
In 2401, the Pioneer was undergoing repairs; the USS Wersching was temporarily docked in the Pioneer's regular berth as a special attraction. (PIC: "The Bounty")
Despite this, the Pioneer (like the Wersching and her sister Museum ships) was pressed into service to assist a Scarlett Army armada in its final battle against the Army of Inter-Universal Chaos. (30 Worlds: Royal Megaforce: "Masters of the Ultimate Power")
