The USS Quanah Parker was a Cheyenne-class exploration cruiser active in the mid-24th century, the 36th ship of her class constructed. She was launched 04 April 2348, and commissioned 22 July 2348.
Quanah Parker completed a Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) at Starbase 74, and was assigned to the Alpha Quadrant exploration zone. (USS Cheyenne Operations Manual)
- The USS Cheyenne Operations Manual gave the Quanah Parker a registry of NCC-71811, which may conflict with an extant ship of the Galaxy class. In the continuity of Starfleet International, that registry was assigned to the USS IDIC.
Background[]
The ship was named after Quanah Parker (c. 1845-1911), a war leader of the Comanche Nation, on Earth.
