USS Rachel Garrett (NCC-71819) was a Galaxy-class explorer on active duty in Starfleet during the late 24th century.
Rachel Garrett was deployed to the Starfleet Third Fleet, under the command of Commodore (later Vice Admiral) M.L. Murphy, during its operational lifetime.
Nomenclature[]
The ship was named after Captain Rachel Garrett, commanding officer of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-C).
In 2344, her ship's defense of a Klingon outpost at Narendra III from Romulan forces averted a potential war. Unfortunately, Captain Garrett and her officers and crew all died. (TNG: "Yesterday's Enterprise")
