USS Radetsky (NCC-1792) was a United Federation of Planets starship active until the early 24th century.
Radetsky was one of several starships lost during the Tomed Incident. (Star Trek: Thagard: A History of the USS Thagard; A Guide to the U.S.S. Thagard - NCC-652)
- The name and NCC number were taken from a Constitution-class heavy cruiser (FASA: Federation Ship Recognition Manual); however, that RPG has Radetsky destroyed ca. 2275. The number conflicts with a Achernar-subclass heavy cruiser, Elohim. (Star Fleet Technical Manual)
Nomenclature[]
The ship was named after Joseph Radetsky von Radetz (1766-1858), an Austrian field marshal serving during the Napoleonic Wars, on Earth.
