USS Raincross was the name of two Prometheus-class tactical cruisers in Federation Starfleet service during the late 24th century. (Constar Completed: "The Heat of the Moment", "Gawds and Monsters", "Odyssey, Part 2", "Raincross"; Raincross)
Raincross's commanding officer was Captain Anthony Lobato. ("The Heat of the Moment", "Gawds and Monsters", "Raincross")
The senior officers on the Raincross included Lieutenant Syrok, executive officer and chief science officer; Commander Bill Griffin, chief engineer; and Lieutenant Junior Grade Vincent Kyle, chief of security. ("The Heat of the Moment", "Odyssey, Part 2") There was also a senior science officer, Lieutenant Bell. ("Raincross")
Raincross was assigned to explore the Typhon Expanse at some point in the 2370s. While there, they discovered a planet with large amounts of quadlithium. ("The Heat of the Moment")
The fate of the first Raincross was not revealed, but a second ship of the same name and class was built to replace her. ("Odyssey, Part 2")
In 2385, while the new Raincross was in drydock, only 76 officers and crew were on board. ("Raincross")
