History

Constructed well in to the Dominion War, the Seriphos had been rushed in to service with an equally rushed and inexperienced crew, Seriphos was assigned to border patrol and took part in a couple of small skirmishes.

Seriphos took part in the Battle of Rigel, with a lack of real combat experience, several key crew members, including the captain, were lost, and the ship took heavy damage. The Seriphos ended up in the Antares Ship Yards, undergoing a light refit, which saw it gain new, California class style, warp nacelles. Command was transferred to Xindi-Primate Captain Nahgra.

Toward the end of 2375, the USS Seriphos, was assigned to escort a fleet of utility ships, meeting them at DSK-19. After the fleet arrived in the Ostium system, the Seriphos and several other vessels were transported to the Zeta Expanse.
