USS Tikopai (NCC-1800) was the lead ship of the Tikopai-subclass of Constitution-class heavy cruisers that were in service during the late 23rd and early 24th centuries. (Star Fleet Technical Manual)
Tikopai was commissioned in August of 2281. (Ships of the Star Fleet) She served as backup to USS Avenger during a patrol along the Klingon border in April 2288. (Star Trek: Avenger: "Border Skirmish")
