There were two ships named USS Titanic.
In 2380, Ian Phillips was assigned to a USS Titanic as a Lieutenant Commander. When that ship was destroyed by a black hole in the Gateway system, he was reassigned to the USS Batony Bay.
A new USS Titanic launched in late 2382. It was destroyed by an asteroid three hours into a trip to the Azure Nebula.
