History[]
The Trill was part of the twenty-third production series of Galaxy-class starships, the so-called Planet-class, and was named for the planet Trill, homeworld to the Trill. The ship was nearing completion in August 2409. (Bait and Switch: "Shakedown Shenanigans")
Technical data[]
The Trill was one of five ships in its production line to be equipped with an experimental X-227 warp core developed by Vector Industries, which used artificial gravity fields to confine the matter/antimatter reaction instead of dilithium. (Bait and Switch: "Shakedown Shenanigans")
