USS Vindicator (NCC-23911) was a Federation hospital ship on active duty in Starfleet during the late 24th century. Vindicator and her sister ship, USS Henri Dunant, were originally constructed as Olympus-class dreadnoughts then refitted as hospital ships. The two ships were referred to as "mednoughts." Nomenclature[]
The ship was named after Vindicator (comics), a 20th-century Canadian superhero who also went by the noms du guerre "Weapon Alpha" and "Guardian."
