The USS Viracocha was a Sojourner-class Federation starship in the early 25th century, part of Star Fleet Battle Group Sigma. The ship was commanded by Captain Aeris. (Earth Spacedock, Star Trek: Phoenix-X)
History[]
After the USS Zephyra was near-ruined in fluidic space, Captain Aeris was given command of the Viracocha, which, after being diverted from surveying a Class J nebula, she used to fight a Borg cube attack at Earth. (Earth Spacedock: Page 60-61)
When Captain Oroku Seifer learned of Tomsin's false credentials, he intended on transferring the relieved Tellarite off the USS Ragnarok to the Viracocha to then be taken to Earth. But during the scheduled crew transfer between both ships, Aeris revealed that Tomsin had indeed been taking online courses and had won his rank in Starfleet, as well as she introduced his twin brother Ensign Tomsin who was to be transferred onto the Ragnarok.
