The USS Wanderer (NCC-947221) was a 24th century Akira-class starship.
In the 2390s, the Wanderer was commanded by Captain Jane Arnold. Commander Louise Carter served as first officer and Ensign Z'Oomie served at tactical.
Wanderer saw combat, during the Borg Invasion of 2392. At the Battle of Vulcan, the vessel was assimilated along with members of its crew. The now Borg ship then departed the battle.
The assimilated Wanderer travelled to Kressgon, crash landing on the planet.
Arnold and Carter survived the ordeal, albeit now members of the Collective (or at least partially). Admiral Lewis was able to reverse their assimilation and other surviving members of the crew were then recovered. (Star Trek: Unity)

The nacelles on the Wanderer were of a different design than the typical Akira-class. This could indicate an engine modification, upgrade, or a refit of the class.
