USS Webster (NCC-4104) was a Centaur-class medium cruiser in Federation Starfleet service during the early 24th century. (Starship Webster)

The ship was, at least once, referred to as a "diplomatic cruiser" in dialogue. (Starship Caliborn: "Formication")

She was constructed at the ASDB Integration Facility, Laikan Naval Yards, in orbit of Andoria. The motto on the Webster's dedication plaque was "In Omnia Paratus" ("Ready for Anything"). (Starship Webster Facebook group)

In 2304, Webster was launched from Starbase 211 under the command of Captain Hamilton Prescott. ("Launch") Richard Lattimer succeeded Prescott as commanding officer under unrevealed circumstances. ("Exiled from Eternity")

When the USS Deimos was trapped within the gravitational influence of a neutron star in 2305, the Webster responded to the other ship's distress call, but was 30 hours away. (Starship Deimos: "Leviathan")

In 2307, the Webster and the Deimos were part of an officers' exchange program. ("Periphery")

Nomenclature[]

The ship was named after Delia Webster (1817-1904), an American teacher, author, businesswoman, and abolitionist.

A nickname for the Webster was "Delia", which confused a Sodainyan diplomatic contingent. Hawkins explained to them that Delia Webster had been a woman of renown from Earth's history, and that she had been known as the "Petticoat Abolitionist." ("Opportunity")

Embarked craft[]

Among its other embarked vessels, the Webster had two shuttlecoupes, a smaller version of a shuttlecraft. One was named the Betsey (NCC-4104/2), after one of Delia Webster's sisters. ("Exiled from Eternity") Another, the T'Plana-Hath (NCC-4104/3) -- named after the matriarch of Vulcan philosophy -- was lost and presumed destroyed during a mission. (Starship Caliborn: "Formication")

The Webster also had a warp-capable shuttlecraft, the Martha. ("Thicker Than Water")
