USS Whorfin (NCC-1024)

The USS Whorfin (NCC-1024) was a Horizon-class heavy cruiser—lead ship of the Whorfin battle cruiser subclass—in Star Fleet service from the early- to late-23rd century. In 2229, the vessel survived a Kshatriyan ambush with only light casualties, continuing on in service to the Federation (as a deep space survey cruiser over three tours), until 2297.
