"What kind of name is Xena? Sounds like an out-franchise warrior duchess.""
Captain Daniel

The USS Xena (NCC-92382) was a vessel with increased medical facilities to help injured officers. The vessel was created under Starfleet Intelligence, and by odds became a mostly female-operated ship. It was launched in the early 2370s, and destroyed by divergent-Hirogen in 2390. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X)

Summary[]

Having shared threatening and unusual experiences with the crew of the USS Phoenix-X, the crew of the Xena was aware of the Phoenix-X's involvement with Section 31. ("The Tiloniam System", "The Links' Traitor", "The Tilonian System", "Crash Bandicoots", "Experimentalism", "Fight, Part III", "Into Harshness")

Power[]

Its tactical capabilities were not much better than the average Galaxy-class ship, although its medical facilities were quite advanced. ("The Links' Traitor")

Design[]

After hearing of Captain Jean-Luc Picard's trip into the future, in 2370, and the description of a future Enterprise-D from an alternate 2395, Admiral Theseus commissioned a similar ship-type as the Xena. Unfortunately, increased warp capability was never achieved as hoped. ("The Tilonian System")
