Ulduar

Ulduar was a Pelosian who served as the chief transporter operator and the gamma shift officer of the RIS Bouteina. (RIS Bouteina)

Overview

He made his first formal appearance in the series during the second season episode The Whole Kitten Kaboodle, when he assumed command because the main three officers recovered from a grueling away mission. He also assists in the ship-wide operation of transporters in several occasions, even when the rest of the crew falls asleep when he is on the bridge.

He was a seasoned World of Warcraft player, playing both on holodeck and on computer, because he was not a "no-life" like Vulcan players were. For this reason, he preferred to play on Annika Hansen's guild because it was a primarily RP guild, who befitted his playing style better. (RIS Bouteina: "Kathelet")

Because of his World of Warcraft expertise, he was invited by a Krantian movie producer, and also guild leader, to help him shoot his war movie, while he commanded the beta shift as the main commanding officers were down to the surface in the Hilbert Hotel (hotel). During the Dominion War, he entered a feud against a Lyran officer named Pilerk. He got his chance to avenge the events of the Dominion War when issued a challenge by the same Pilerk, leading his hockey team, as coach of the Praetorians, to a 9-8 victory over the Wildcats in overtime. In 2389, he became the second officer of the Bouteina when Taev Radaik was given his own command and Vaebn Mairex became the first officer of the ship. (RIS Bouteina: "Rator III Awaits")

Background

He is named after a titan complex of World of Warcraft, comprising several dungeons, including the eponymous instance.
