Valdore was a high-ranking official in the Romulan Star Navy in the 22nd century.
In 2154, Valdore oversaw an operation to destroy relations between the Andorians and Tellarites by using a holographic disguised drone ship to frame both sides for attacks against the other. However, the operation backfired and Humans, Vulcans, Andorians and Tellarites joined together to counter the threat. (ENT: "Babel One", "United")
Death[]
Valdore was charged with leading the Battle of Sector 2148 when his vessel was stationed there to oversee defense. When the Earth fleet emerged for the surprise attack, Valdore held them off until backup could arrive. However, things quickly spun out of control when MACO landed on the various Romulan controlled planets throughout the system. Although before he had failed, Valdore died heroically in the eyes of the Star Empire when his ship was destroyed by Enterprise. He was survived by his wife and two children. (Star Trek: Poseidon - The Birth of the Federation)
Legacy[]
Admiral Valdore was apparently well remembered even into the 24th century. The IRW Valdore, a Norexan-class warbird was named in his honor. (Star Trek Nemesis)
