History[]
In her previous "cycle", Vehayz was a scientist. She claimed in her next cycle, she wanted to be a diplomat.
2373[]
The USS Cantabrian picked up Veyahz and her Kaartali contingent in late 2373 to ferry to Earth for the Federation-Kaartali officer exchange program. En route to Earth, the Cantabrian stopped to try and find Captain Noah Wrightston and his missing away team, but Vehayz attempted to pressure Cantabrian first officer Elizabeth Singh to continue onwards towards Earth to meet their deadline; Singh did not comply. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "The Fire In Which We Burn")
After discovering the threat Samantha Delaney posed to the Federation, Vehayz accompanied Singh to track down some of her associates, including Singh's former lover, Mikali Galea. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "For Queen and Country")
Vehayz and her second-in-command, Latralis, beamed aboard the Dark Starship with Wrightston and others to capture Delaney after the Cantabrian's destruction. Both assisted in apprehending Delaney and her cohorts. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "By All Means Necessary")
2375[]
Vehayz acted as first officer aboard the USS Determination early in the year under Commander Elizabeth Singh's command on the New Bolarus mission. After an encounter with a Vendoth scout ship, damaging the Determination and forcing her to New Bolarus's surface, she took command from an injured and unconscious Singh. Under her leadership, the Determination crew rescued several dozen colonists from the surface, taking the severely damaged ship to a low orbit to be rescued by the Cantabrian-A.
Aboard the ship, she strongly disagreed with Captain Wrightston's assessment to keep the Vendoth in hibernation in the cargo bays so the Steranmio Alliance could give them a fair trial. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Howl")
