The Vesta-class(refit) was a type of starship in service with Federation Starfleet during the 29th century. The Federation decided at the closing of the 28th century, a new Vesta class would be commissioned to be the new Flagship for Starfleet during the 29th century.
Design and Construction
The newly refitted Vesta class was commissioned at the start of the 29th century and was designed to be a Explorer and a Warship. The Vesta class (refit) was a new vessel as well as the last of its class to serve in Starfleet during the 29th century. The ship was designed with massive redundancy systems as well as speed and power. The Starship was equipped with advanced systems which included advanced weapons and shields. Thus, the vessel could hold its own against a entire Borg fleet and never get so much as a scratch.
The power that supplied energy for the ship was in due part related to its newest core The Omega Warp Core and this system or power core was enormously powerful as it provided all the energy required to keep the Vesta class (refit) operational and fully able to function without assistance from other ships in the fleet.
