Viony Lem was the first host of the Lem Trill symbiont.
Viony was a concert pianist by training, and was joined to the Lem symbiont for 65 years. They were joined in 2161, in the same year that the United Federation of Planets was been founded (Starship Independence: "Ultraviolet").
