The Visionary-class explorers were a class of Federation Starfleet vessels extant in the early 25th century. (Chronicle)
In design, the Visionaries had four warp nacelles, an ovoid primary hull, as well as what appeared to be a large sensor module above and aft of the primary hull. They were also equipped with a slipstream drive that required a dedicated computer core using bio-neural gel packs. (Chronicle Pinterest)

In 2410, Starfleet Command assigned USS Witch of Endor, USS Cassandra, and USS Merlin to traverse the expanse to the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy as part of the Perseus Project.
Beyond the three extant Visionaries, there were three others either constructed or planned. ("Danse Macabre")
Embarked craft[]
There were at least two Puerto Rico-class runabouts embarked on each of the extant Visionaries. ("Best Laid Plans", "Catching Up", "Yesterday is Waiting").
