Vox'ula was a Romulan who served as the Operations manager of the RIS Bouteina. He was quite adept at targeting enemy ships and to use the different weapons at their disposal. And he was quite good with communications as well. He became calculating when a logistics problem arose. (RIS Bouteina)

Early career[]

He began his Romulan Star Navy career as a freighter cargomaster and he became quite adept at his station, so he was offered the Ops position on that freighter, the IRF Dullahan. But he lacked strategical knowledge to effectively man the weapons of the freighter, and to hone his weapons training, he requested a transfer to a run-of-the-mill warbird, which he was granted. Over the years, he grew accustomed with his station so he felt more confident about using the weapons.

He was instrumental in defeating a Cardassian pirate cartel during the Dominion War, as well as given a promotion in the process. Because of this event, he is known to have a full-blown hatred of Cardassians. He spent the next few years as the second officer of a freighter until his taste for adventure brings him to try his hand at the Bouteina's mission.

RIS Bouteina[]

He played an instrumental role in getting cyprofloxacine from Simpson's Planet and was prone to llhrei'sian induced by foreign foods and beverages. After eating Krusty burgers, he drank Duff beer, which cured him from llhrei'sian. He was willing to ensure the safe voyage and to take all necessary logistical precautions so the trip could continue in peace. As such, he wanted to raise enough funds to purchase ten times the amount of cyprofloxacine the Bouteina departed with. (RIS Bouteina: "What about some D'oh!", "Fundraiser")

Although it was obvious that he held all non-Romulans in contempt, he continued to serve under Annika Hansen until the Bouteina could return to its homeworld. Then, he took the second officer posting on the RIS Ael'Hathem, under the command of Taev Radaik, because he was tired to serve in a flying zoo. (RIS Bouteina: "Rator III Awaits")
