Wagon Train to the Stars

Wagon Train to the Stars is the sixth episode in the Star Trek: False Vacuum series, launched on July 7th, 2015. As such, it marks the end of the False Vacuum first season.

Summary

Kayachey, the Governor-General of Krant, invites three ladies that served onboard the Antechrist to participate in a scientific experiment on Krant once the convoy of construction supplies bound for Unity Three Starbase reached the planet. Before arriving on the planet, however, these ladies, plus Courtney Ghergetta and Ugohr, were in a holodeck having an adventure in a setting reminiscent of Medieval Europe but with several anachronisms like phaser-armed bandits and lightsabers. Before they could wipe out the holographic bandits, however, the Antechrist arrived over Krant.

Since Krant was a prison colony, the Antechrist crew was forced to use a runabout to get to the site of the experiment, Hilbert Hotel (hotel), where the participants (namely Ariane Binks, Dunames Lopez and Eliane Stafford) realized that the Hydran experiment actually was about mediating a dispute between the Klingon Empire and the Romulan Star Empire over an unfulfilled contract to deliver a QeylIS BetleH-class battleship. They find it difficult to navigate the legalese in the dispute being mediated but nonetheless arrived to an accord, the Treaty of Krant. And they gained, as a result, a physical therapy practitioner, and also a mediator, Mydia Bunansa. Some experiment participants realized that they are now part of a new unit, based on USS Neman and dubbed False Vacuum Squadron.
