Xiomara Astrid Michaelsen was a Starfleet officer on active duty in the late 23rd and early 24th centuries.
Michaelsen was a mathematics specialist aboard USS Avenger, but transferred to USS Blackheart in March, 2293. Her successor on Avenger was Caitlin Rutherford. (Star Trek: Avenger: "Belonging", "A Visit to the Physical Science Chief's Office")
At some point, Michaelsen also served aboard USS Denpasar.
By the 2320s, Michaelsen held the rank of captain and was a science officer assigned to Shadowstar Station.

Michaelsen was born in Austin, Texas, on 22 June 2268.
Both of her parents were tenth-generation Texans — her father predominantly of Scandinavian ancestry and her mother predominantly of Chinese ancestry — and professors at University of Texas at Austin.
