Xyrenia

Xyrenia was a Starfleet chief medical officer aboard the USS Phoenix-X. Unlike most Deltans, she medically grew her hair out to feel more like herself. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X)

History

In the 2390s, when Doctor Lox left the Phoenix-X, on and off, for other assignments, he tasked Xyrenia with maintaining his mutant plants, including the rose crossbreeds of Chameleon and Felaran roses.

In 2393, Xyrenia carelessly overwatered Lox's roses, causing an influx of pollination throughout the ship that led to a fluctuation of Tong's concentration in which he sucker-punched Elly in a spar. It also caused the roses to grow aggressively large and attack the crew. Elly convinced Xyrenia to be herself and the two bred more roses to mate and calm the first batch. ("All at Once")

During the interdimensional conflict with the Hiss, Doctor Xyrenia medically recovered BOB from intense intoxication after he had sampled the Unreliable's Andorian cider. ("Convergencies")

Later, while trying to mimic Doctor Lox's success, Xyrenia used one of his incomplete medical procedures to merge several lower lifeforms into the amorphus blog Frek. Though Frek was conscious and communicative, Veker helped Xyrenia understand she should follow her own path, as well he helped her clean up the mess left by Frek. ("Grievous Obscurity")
